…in my frazzled post-manuscript daze today so I’ve been looking for, well, distractions.

…but here is another review, this one of a book launch –click on “Celebrating Sideways” (thanks k). And because “Love is a bearded lady and a bug-eyed epileptic Chihuahua named Oliver” (a great line from this review) I did some searching on my own. There was also this one (and this line): “It generally becomes a poem if it’s a lousy joke and it generally becomes a joke if it’s a lousy poem”.

If anyone is interested, here are some guidelines to writing a poetry reading review–funny, considering how few reviews there are, that there are rules of engagement anyway. (#6 is my favourite).
