Perfect! There’s a movie coming out about him in December with John Malkovich. I can hardly wait to see it.
I read a critique of Schiele somewhere that said he died before fulfilling his promise… I’m not so sure I agree with this at all esp. after viewing that video, which I find brilliant.
I also can’t help but see a foreshadowing of a century in his work – political, artistic, sexual, gender etc. and wonder who is foreshadowing the 21st?
Sznn: I tend to agree with you–although I do tend to wonder what he could’ve accomplished if he’d have lived. Maybe we are all foreshadowing the 21st? Artists and writers alike.
